Step 1 — You send an inquiry
Use the inquiry form or write to us directly. Tell us roughly how many income sources you have, whether you operate as an individual business or a company, and where your money feels least predictable. We respond by email within two business days.
Step 2 — We confirm scope and fee
Before anything is booked, we suggest a session length and confirm the consultation fee in writing. Nothing is charged until you agree. If your situation requires a licensed tax accountant rather than financial planning, we flag it here.
Step 3 — Income mapping session
We meet at the office on Seolleung-ro, or by video if that works for you. We list every income stream, sort them by predictability, and draw a 12-month income map. You leave with that map and a short written summary of what we found.
Step 4 — Expense structuring session
In the second session we divide your costs into fixed overheads, project-by-project costs and personal drawings, then set reserve targets for VAT and year-end income tax. The output is a one-page expense plan keyed to your real categories.
Step 5 — Quarterly cash flow plan session
In the third session we turn the income map and the expense structure into a rolling 13-week cash flow sheet, with tax reserve dates marked. We walk through how to update it weekly in under fifteen minutes.
Step 6 — Optional quarterly review
If you want a second pair of eyes, we review your updated 13-week plan each quarter and flag anything that has drifted. This is optional and is billed per review, not as a subscription.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to bring accounting records?
Only what you already have. Bank deposit exports, invoice lists or a simple accounting export all work. If you have nothing organised yet, send a note and we will suggest what to pull together before the first session.
Are sessions in Korean or English?
Consultations are held in English. Korean-language written summaries can be prepared on request at no extra charge, because the office is based in Seoul and most clients prefer a Korean reference document for their tax accountant.
Is this tax advice?
No. These sessions are financial planning, focused on income and expense structure. We do not file tax returns or certify financial statements. If a task needs a licensed tax accountant, we flag it and refer you to one.
Can I book only one session?
Yes. Each session is bookable on its own. Many freelancers start with the income mapping session and decide afterwards whether the next two fit their situation.
